The development of the cermaic material is focusing on improving performance of traditional ceramic cutting tools,decreasing grain size,component composition,coating imposing,optimization of sintering process and developing new products,with aiming to accommodate high-speed and precision machining requirement with high-temperature resistant,wear-resistant and excellent anti-edge-broken capability.It is devided into 3 categories such as alumina,silicon nitride,boron nitride.In the area of metal machining,alumina and silicon nitride ceramic inserts are called ceramic cutting tools,in the meantime,in the line of inorganic nonmetallic materials,cubic boron nitride is belong to big ceramic category. |
