Materials are the basis for development of human beings and one of main manifestations of social progress.The tungsten carbide is composited with difficulty to be melted hard phase and binder phase,which is a composite material produced with powder metallurgy process.
With the development of economic globalization and gradually scientific progress,the application requirement with tungsten carbide is higher and higher,in the meantime, the tungsten carbide area develops very fast too,especially the tungsten carbide cutting tools and inserts.
The lastest tungsten carbide inserts for hole machining work,take hard phase with grain size 0.2um+0.5um+0.8um and high cobalt content as 13% blended and composited matrix,making the hardness and T.R.S improved significantly,adding the geometry structure and clamping methods,which toughness is similar to the solid drills,as well as unique design of drill-point and nano physical coating with TiN and TiAlN material,resulted in very excellent cutting performance.
