Application Situation of Non-standard and New Type Tungsten Carbide Moulds
The so-called non-standard mould blanks mean they are not listed in national standard mould lists,most of them are non-magnetic and progressive moulds.The non magnetic moulds usually take grade GM15 and GM20 to produce.For example,Sichuan No.899 factory uses GM15 to make soft-magnet pressing die;Jiangxi Optical Instruments factory takes GM20 and GM20C to produce soft-magnet blank die with mirror surface,with which to die nickel-basing alloy IJ50,the parallelism and surface roughness is 0.005mm and Ra<0.2um respectively.No matter it is single or multi progressive mould,generally,they are taken grade GM15,GM20 and GM20C to produce,of course,sometimes,also taken steel binder tungsten carbide materials.For instance,Shanghai Watch company use tungsten carbide material to make wheel slice integrated progressive mould,it is capable to work 2.16 million times at speeding 300~400 times/minute,and produce 4 milliion qualified products,in addition,the stator progressive die also produces 1 million products at speeding 300 times per minute.The electric motor stator and rotor core puncing die made by Nanjing Changjiang Machine factory are capable to punch half milliion times after sharpening 1 time,its whole service life is 50~60 million times.In recent years,the forming and plastic moulds of poweder metallurgy products are used with tungsten carbide material,for example,the forming die made of grade GM8 is capable to make 0.7 million products,but only 1000 ones with steel mould,for instance,Luzhou Changjiang Machine factory takes grade GM8 to make the multi-metals shaft sleeve forming mould with service life over 1 million times,however,if take GCr15 steel,which is only available to produce 1000 ones. |
