In the producing of sewing machines, many a enterprises usually select tungsten carbide indexable inserts as cutting tools which have many strengths such as good wear-resistance, stable size and fast machining speed. They are the ideal tools for CNC machining center and special latches at present
 
However, how can we improve the tungsten carbide indexable inserts service life?
 
Everyone knows that it is impossible to use cooling liquid in the processing of tungsten carbide indexable inserts, consequently they are easily cracked under this condition and which is unavailable to be detected by eyes. The temperature of tungsten carbide cutting tools could reach 1000℃ in welding process, if cool them with liquid in the air will make its powder structure unstable ,this is same as the tungsten carbide cutting tools with fast heating and cooling process in working(the working temperature of tungsten carbide cutting tools is 400℃-500℃)
 
The tungsten carbide indexable inserts is made of metallic powder ,formed by 100 tons pressing machine and sintered with high temperature.It is the same as the stones in the hills which are exposed long-time in the air ,the big stones become myriad ones .Consequently ,the tungsten carbide indexable inserts are very fragile ,it is also because of the reason .
 
When take thermal-insulation process for the tungsten carbide indexable inserts ,if the condition is available ,the industrial electrical furnace should be used .We put the welded tungsten carbide indexable inserts into the furnace (the temperature in the furnace must over 600℃),and to cool them with down of the temperature in it .Of course, if condition unavailable, we also can take lime to cool them by burying the welded tungsten carbide cutting tools into the lime to cool them slowing ,the thermal-insulation time generally takes 6 hours .
