Under so cruel competition market, our domestic carbide CNC cutter industry faces the following main problems
Trust-Crisis
Trust of Customers on domestic tungsten carbide indexable cutters is very low since long-term reliable on import carbide inserts ,meanwhile ,there is very big gap between domestic and imported carbide cutters in technology ,service, quality and publicity .They usually want spend more money to import the cutting tools ,but do not get risk of buying domestic CNC inserts. After all ,comparing with dozens or hundreds a hour working-delaying fees of thousands and hundreds RMB equipment, the cost for the carbide insert is very few .If it is not entirely sure ,the customers prefer to the import cutting tools definitely .The car-manufacturers and aerospace enterprises are the classic examples, who wont provide any chance for the domestic CNC cutting tools to on test in the producing line as they are still immature today.
Competition Pressure
After joined WTO ,global sourcing enable a lot of foreign brands of tungsten carbide cutting tools crowd into Chinese market and provide more choices to the users, also the domestic carbide inserts manufacturers face more difficulty to develop market .
Supplier Dependency
The sizes of domestic tungsten carbide indexable cutting tools manufacturers are small ,who have not formed tight joint of its own cutting tools industrial chain,especially the tool manufacturers do not produce tungsten carbide cutting inserts ,but the carbide cutting inserts factories do not produce tools .Nearly all of them depend suppliers ,there is not a real industrial union.
Talent Shortage
Tungsten carbide CNC cutting tools is a field with technology-intensive ,knowledge-intensive and talent-intensive ,its development depends on the talents a large, especially for the small enterprises. In domestic,the talent in technology ,management ,marketing ,and operation of CNC lathes of tungsten carbide CNC cutting tools are short seriously.It generally takes 3~5 years to educate a talent,meanwhile the university has not bear its responsibility to educate the talents in CNC machining and tungsten carbide CNC tools ,consequently the enterprise has to spend a lot of time to do that work ,but the result is not good .
