The Key Technique for Producing Tungsten Carbide Turning Inserts
1) The selection and designation for the tungsten carbide turning inserts: after taken composition analysis ,microstructure and mechanical test on the sample of tungsten carbide inserts,we have to design the suitable tungsten carbide grade as per the actual needs
2) The designation for the processes of strengthen for carbide inserts cutting edge and coating scheme: according to site using condition, to take strengthen test on the carbide inserts cutting edge ,and optimizing test on the coating process ,and then select a coating process with better performance
3) Designation for the tungsten carbide insert structure :we have to draw the drawing as per the sample ,and study its structure characters, and then get our own-made tungsten carbide inserts by virtue of actual experience and softwares such as CAD and CAM
4) The designation for the tungsten carbide insert blank mould and precision process on them .
